Help Troubleshooting Premium isn't working

I'm subscribed but premium isn't working

If you've paid but still see the watermark or trial limits, the cause is almost always the same: you're signed in with a different email from the one you subscribed with. Your subscription follows your email, so the two have to match. Here's how to put it right.

1. Sign in with the exact email you subscribed with

This is the fix the vast majority of the time. Subscriptions are tied to the email address you used at checkout. If you signed into FaceReady with a slightly different address — a work one instead of personal, or a typo — the app won't see your subscription.

Sign out, then sign back in with the exact email you paid with. Once it matches, FaceReady reconciles your subscription and the watermark drops away. Not sure which email you used? Check your card statement or your Stripe receipt — the receipt is addressed to it.

2. Restart FaceReady

If the right email's signed in but premium still hasn't kicked in, fully quit FaceReady and open it again. That makes it check your subscription status fresh.

3. Check your subscription is active

Open Settings → Manage subscription in FaceReady. That opens your billing portal, where you can confirm the subscription is active and the payment went through. If a card was declined, the subscription may be paused until it's paid.
