What does the trial include?
The full app for seven days from first launch, with a "FaceReady free trial" mark on the picture that other people on the call can see. No card to start; the app asks you to confirm an email address so a subscription can follow you between computers. When the seven days are up, the effects switch off until you subscribe; the trial is tied to the computer, so reinstalling doesn't restart it.
Monthly or yearly?
Monthly is $19.99, charged each month, and you can stop at any time. Yearly is $119.88 charged once, which works out at $9.99 a month. You can start monthly and move to yearly later.
How do I cancel?
From inside the app, through the billing page. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep access until the end of the month or year you've paid for. We don't give refunds; the trial is there so you can check it works for you before you pay. The full policy is at Refund policy.
Why a subscription and not a one-off price?
Because a subscription covers the running costs of keeping the app working: new versions of macOS and Windows, new webcams, and the video apps changing under it. Since launch in July 2026 there have been ten releases across the two platforms, and every subscriber got each one. You pay while you use it and stop when you don't.
What about my privacy?
Every frame is processed on your own computer, on-device. Nothing is uploaded, there's no account holding your face, and nothing is stored. You pay for the software — not with your data.
