Do I need to cancel the trial?
No. The trial takes no card and no payment details, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing that can charge you.
What happens at the end
The trial runs for seven days from the first time you open FaceReady on that computer. During those days the picture carries a "FaceReady free trial" mark. When the seven days are up, the effects switch off and the app shows a subscribe button. That's all. It doesn't turn into a paid plan by itself, and it can't take money it was never given.
If you don't want it, just stop using it or delete it. On a Mac, remove the camera from Settings inside the app before you delete it, so the FaceReady camera isn't left behind in your video apps.
If you do want to keep it
Subscribe from inside the app. It's $19.99 a month or $119.88 a year, and a subscription you've paid for is the one thing that can be cancelled: see Manage subscription.
The trial is tied to the computer
Reinstalling doesn't restart it. If you want more time because something went wrong during your seven days, tell us through the contact form.
